ItsCarma Community Guidelines
Our mission is to make ItsCarma a helpful and trusted neighbor-to-neighbor tool to exchange information about parking enforcement schedules and other car-related issues.
When you use ItsCarma, there are expectations for how you must respect and protect the privacy of other users. In addition, we want you to have reasonable expectations regarding the ItsCarma application and its services. For that reason, we’ve developed guidelines describing what behaviors are – and are not – allowed by ItsCarma users, but also what expectations users should have regarding the services of ItsCarma.
We rely on all users of ItsCarma’s website, web app, mobile apps, and Services to report any actions by other users that violate these guidelines. Violating the guidelines in these Community Guidelines has consequences, which may include a permanent ban from ItsCarma.
ItsCarma strictly prohibits harassment of any users of ItsCarma (for example, users that display an ItsCarma placard or sticker on their car). Harassment can include, but is not limited to, sending multiple alert messages in excess of a reasonable number to the same user regarding parking enforcement regulations or other car-related issues. Accordingly, ItsCarma reserves the right to limit the number of texts a single user may send to another single user or limit the number of messages a single user may send or receive in the aggregate. ItsCarma also strictly prohibits threatening someone’s physical safety, for example, by threatening a person exhibiting an ItsCarma placard or sticker on their car. If you believe that your physical safety or the safety of another person is at risk, please call 911 or contact the relevant local authorities.
In addition to the foregoing, ItsCarma strictly prohibits sending bogus or fraudulent messages.
We hope you love using ItsCarma and find it a useful neighbor-to-neighbor tool, but as an ItsCarma user it is important that you understand the following:
